RE: Notice of Initial Acceptance of Sewerline Extension for Weld County Head Start
Extension#0007
Dear Anne,
This is to inform you that the sewerline extension for Weld County Head Start has been
completed by Skyline Contracting for Weld County, Colorado in accordance with the Central
Grand Valley Sanitation District's Standards and Specifications as of July 23, 2001, with the
exception of Mesa County signing off on their Underground Utility Permit. The District Board
decided to initially accept the sewerline,but this acceptance was contingent upon Mesa County
signing off on the Underground Utility Permit (see letter to M. J. Geile dated July 26, 2001).
All sewerlines constructed as part of the extension have been tested and accepted as required by
the Sanitary Sewer System Extension Agreement. Weld County will warrant and guarantee for a
period of one year from the above date of initial acceptance that the sewerline is free from all
defects, and shall make any such repairs as may be necessary for reason of said defects,
including repairs of any trench settlement or street repair along the trench.
Enclosed is a copy of the Sewerline Extension Agreement documenting all`construction costs
related to the sewerline extension for the 1 lot served. We have also enclosed an electronic copy
of the as-built sewerline Plans along with one set of blueprints, copies of the sewerline test
results, and soil compaction tests for your reference.
