RE: APPROVE ELECTION BY ACCLAMATION OF COMMISSIONER ROBERT D.
MASDEN AS TEMPORARY CHAIR FOR OCTOBER 3, 2001, BOARD MEETING
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Chair M. J. Geile, and Chair Pro-Tern Glenn Vaad will both be absent from
the regularly scheduled board meeting on October 3, 2001, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to elect Commissioner Robert D. Masden as
the Temporary Chair for the October 3, 2001, board meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Commissioner Robert D. Masden be, and hereby is, elected by
acclamation as Temporary Chair for the October 3, 2001, board meeting.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 24th day of September, A.D., 2001.
