Home My WebLink About20010204.tiff RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS MINUTES HOUSING AUTHORITY WELD COUNTY, COLORADO JANUARY 22, 2001 TAPE #2001-04 The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, met in regular session as the Housing Authority Board in full conformity with the laws of the State of Colorado at the regular place of meeting in the Weld County Centennial Center, Greeley, Colorado, January 22, 2001, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. ROLL CALL: The meeting was called to order by the Chair Pro-Tem and on roll call the following members were present, constituting a quorum of the members thereof: Commissioner M. J. Geile, Chair- EXCUSED Commissioner Glenn Vaad, Pro-Tem Commissioner William H. Jerke Commissioner David E. Long Commissioner Robert D. Masden Also present: County Attorney, Bruce Barker Acting Clerk to the Board, Esther Gesick Finance and Administration Director, Don Warden MINUTES: Because the current members of the Board were not present at the December 27, 2000, meeting, Commissioner Vaad deferred the minutes of the Housing Authority meeting of December 27, 2000, to the next regularly scheduled meeting of the Housing Authority Board. NEW BUSINESS: CONSIDER CDBG CONTRACT CHANGE LETTER#2 AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN:Tom Teixeira, Greeley/Weld County Housing Authority,stated this change letter will extend the contract with the Division of Housing for six months to allow further access to $280,000.00 for the Single Family Rehabilitation Program. Mr.Teixeira explained the funding comes from Federal Community Development Block Grants which are forwarded to the State to be distributed among the various agencies. Commissioner Masden moved to approve said change letter and authorize the Chair to sign. Seconded by Commissioner Jerke, the motion carried unanimously.
