RE: APPOINTMENT OF GLENN VAAD TO SOUTHWEST WELD SERVICE AREA ROAD
IMPACT FEE BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 20-2-130 of the Weld County Code, the Southwest
Weld Service Area Road Impact Fee Board is to include a member of the Board of County
Commissioners of the County of Weld, along with one elected official from each of the
participating Southwest Weld Service Area municipalities (Longmont and Frederick), and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 20-2-290 of the Weld County Code, the Southwest
Weld Service Area Road Impact Fee Board is to hear appeals of decisions by the Road Impact
Fee Committee with regards to independent fee calculation studies submitted by fee payers,
and
WHEREAS, the first of such appeals has been received by the Weld County Public
Works Department and, therefore, it is necessary for the Board of County Commissioners to
appoint one of its members to the Southwest Weld Service Area Road Impact Fee Board in
order to hear such appeal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Glenn Vaad be, and hereby is, appointed by the Board to serve as
the Board's representative on the Southwest Weld Service Area Road Impact Fee Board for the
year 2001.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 7th day of March, A.D., 2001.
