Dear George:
The Department of Planning Services has reviewed your request for an amendment to the existing Use
by Special Review permit for the expansion of a non-conforming use(agricultural service facility) located
on land described as Lot A of RE 971, being part of the W2 NW4 of Section 28, Township 8 North,
Range 62 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County.
Staff has determined that Briggsdale Grain Inc., may submit a letter in writing asking to amend the
existing USR 753 permit boundary to exclude the parcel identified on the Assessor's map as 0545 28
000018. With the exclusion of the previously described parcel, Briggsdale Grain Inc., is eligible to apply
for a Recorded Exemption to split off the parcel that has been amended out. Please note, the non-
conforming use of the land designation would not expire with the approval of a Recorded Exemption. A
new Use by Special Review permit would be required for any use associated with this parcel.
