RE: APPROVE CANCELLATION AND RELEASE OF COLLATERAL FOR HUNT-
WIEDEMAN PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT, S #493 - DAVID HUNT/TERRY
WIEDEMAN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant
to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution dated July 22, 1999, the Department of Planning Services
staff approved the application of David Hunt and Terry Wiedeman, 13434 Weld County
Road 42, Platteville, Colorado 80651, for a five (5) lot Planned Unit Development, S #493, on
the following described real estate, to-wit:
Lot B of Recorded Exemption #2112; part of the
S1/2 of Section 14, Township 4 North, Range 66
West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on August 11, 1999, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, did approve two Improvements Agreement According to Policy Regarding Collateral
for Improvements for Privately Maintained Roads and Off-Site Improvements, for the Hunt-
Wiedeman Planned Unit Development, between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by
and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, and David Hunt and Terry
Wiedeman with terms and conditions being as stated in said agreement, and accepted
Irrevocable Letter of Credit#4, drawn on the Weld County Bank, 3635 23rd Avenue, P.O.
Box 59, Evans, Colorado 80620, in the amount of$56,000.00.
WHEREAS, on September 11, 2000, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, canceled and released said Irrevocable Letter of Credit#4, in the amount of
$56,000.00, and accepted a Certificate of Deposit, in the amount of$1,546.65, from David and
Kayleen Hunt and Terry and Janice Wiedeman, and
WHEREAS, staff from the Weld County Department of Public Works has conducted a
visual inspection and recommends release of said collateral.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Certificate of Deposit, in the amount of$1,546.65, from David
and Kayleen Hunt and Terry and Janice Wiedeman be, and hereby is, canceled and released.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Clerk to the Board be, and hereby
is, directed to return said collateral to the appropriate issuing party.

SUBJECT: Release of Collater. fo =-493
The Departments of Public Works and Planning Services' are recommending a release of the
remaining collateral for the Hunt-Wiedeman Planned Unit Development(Final Plan, S-493) in the
amount of$1546.65, in the form of a Certificate of Deposit. The applicant has sent a letter, dated
July 18, 2001, requesting the release of the collateral. This amount was retained for a period of
one year for final inspection of the asphalt. The asphalt has been inspected by the Department of
Public Works and is adequate, at this time.

COLORADO SUBJECT: S-493, Hunt-Wiedeman, Final release of Collateral
At the request of the applicant, an inspection of the site was performed.
Weld County Public Works Department recommends final release of the transportation collateral being held for
a period of one year. There is no distress or repairs needed to the asphalt, the 15% collateral ($1,546.65) shall
be released.
All other non-transportation items shall be verified by Planning Services prior to release.
