HomeMy WebLinkAbout20011485.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE APPLICATION FOR STREET AND ALLEY VACATIONS IN ISLAND GROVE REGIONAL PARK AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with an application for the vacation of various streets and alleys within the Island Grove Regional Park as shown on the attached documentation, for the purpose of allowing for the siting of the new Farm Show Building, and WHEREAS, said application must be signed by both the City of Greeley and Weld County; the City having already signed said application, and WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to approve said application and authorize the Chair to sign. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the application to vacate various streets and alleys within the Island Grove Regional Park as shown on the attached documentation, for the purpose of allowing for the siting of the new Farm Show Building, be, and hereby is, approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairman is authorized to sign said application. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 4th day of June, A.D., 2001.
