RE: APPROVAL TO DECREASE SOCIAL SERVICES PETTY CASH FUND AND
CHANGE FUND
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners approved Petty
Cash and Change Funds on November 20, 1978 , in the amount of
$500. 00 for the Petty Cash Fund and $300. 00 for the Change Fund
at Social Services Department, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Director of Finance
and Administration and the Director of Social Services Depart-
ment that the Petty Cash Fund be decreased to $100. 00 and the
Change Fund be decreased to $50. 00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Petty Cash and
Change Funds operating in the Social Services Department be, and
hereby are, decreased, effective immediately.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Social Services
Department shall remit to the Accounting Office $650. 00 for
deposit and reduction of the above mentioned cash funds.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 26th day of
July, A.D. , 1982.
