Box 459 Greeley, Colorado 80632 • Dear Sir or Madam: In an on-going effort to keep you informed, I am writing to notify you that AT&T Broadband ("the Company") is restructuring its late fee structure. The Company is implementing this revised late fee structure in response to a settlement agreement which resolves pending class actions challenging the Company's existing late fee structure. AT&T Broadband is restructuring its late fee structure to provide for two fees in the total amount of$4.95 in place of the current fee. Effective April 17th, AT&T Broadband will assess a late fee of$2.95 if a customer's payment has not been received by day 30 of the billing cycle(i.e. the date we begin to generate the next invoice). If payment is still not received 15 days later, an additional late fee of$2.00 will be assessed. A notice regarding this new late fee structure will appear on our customers'bills beginning March 8, 2001. We strongly believe that customers who pay on time should not have to subsidize the fees associated with customers who do not pay on time. The Company's late fee approach addresses the concerns of people who miss their payment by a few days and who believe they should not incur the same late fee as those who pay later in time.
