RE: GRANT PERMIT FOR TEMPORARY ASSEMBLY TO LEAHY FAMILY FARM, LLC -
MARCH 4, APRIL 15, MAY 27, AUGUST 26, AND SEPTEMBER 14, 15, 16, AND
SEPTEMBER 30, 2001
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Leahy Family Farm, LLC, 22437 Weld County Road 19, Milliken, Colorado
80543, has presented the Board of County Commissioners with an application for a Permit for
Temporary Assembly on land within the unincorporated portion of the County of Weld, State of
Colorado, to be held from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on March 4, April 15, May 27, and August 26,
2001; from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on September 14, 15, 16, 2001; and from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00
p.m. on September 30, 2001, on property described as follows:
All that part of the SE1/4 of Section 9, Township 4
North, Range 67 West of the 6th P.M., Weld
County, Colorado
WHEREAS, said applicant has paid to Weld County the sum of ONE-HUNDRED
DOLLARS ($100.00) for said Weld County Permit for Temporary Assembly, and
WHEREAS, having examined said application, the Board deems it appropriate to grant
a Weld County Permit for Temporary Assembly to the Leahy Family Farm, LLC, and
WHEREAS, said permit shall be issued subject to compliance with the terms and
conditions as set forth in the application materials and upon the express condition and
agreement that the temporary assemblage will be conducted in strict conformity to all laws of
the State of Colorado, and
WHEREAS, any violation to said terms and conditions shall be cause for revocation of
said permit and forfeiture of bond.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that said Weld County Permit for Temporary Assembly on March 4,
April 15, May 27, August 26, and September 14, 15, 16, and September 30, 2001, be, and
hereby is, granted to Leahy Family Farm, LLC, to conduct a temporary assemblage at the
hereinabove described location.

RACE EVENTS: American Motorcyclist Association (AMA)
and Rocky Mountain Motocross Association (RMXA)
RACE DATES: March 4. 2001

(This is the series of races we have always held at our track, using rules
established by the AMA, limiting riders to 40 per class. RMXA Board Members
are present at all of these races. Insurance for this series of races is
purchased through the AMA, with a sanction number and certificate number
sent a month in advance and determined by each promoter's charter number. We
have been chartered since 1998. We draw riders from Colorado, Nebraska,
Wyoming, and New Mexico.)

Race Date: NATIONAL Vintage: Sept. 14. 15 and 16. Trials. MX, Hare Scrambles
(The AHRMA NATIONAL is nationally recognized and attended, and was first
held at our facility last fall. It replaces the traditional off-road and
road race event that was held in Steamboat Springs for 18 years. Insurance
for this race is purchased by AHRMA as part of a series and the insurance
amount is $5,000,000. Our facility as well as individual names are listed as
additional insureds. Races held at our facility will be (1) Trials: an
individual, balancing skill, non-speed event, (2) Motocross: rigid frames,
no suspension, very few jumps, and low speed event, and (3) Hare Scrambles:
two hours of riding over rough terrain, on a track indicated by arrow
direction, but not groomed. Classes are determined by size of bike engine or
type, and riders range in age from 15 to 75, all on OLD bikes.)
RACE EVENT: American Motorcyclist Association 4-Stroke National, Round life,
Race Date: August 26
(This race was held for the first time last year at our facility and is a
National series for 4-stroke PRO riders. It draws national attention, for both
riders and the media, and was featured in "Cycle News" and is upcoming on the
speedvision TV channel. The promoter holds the sanction for this race and
insurance coverage is provided through the AMA, with our facility named as
additional insureds. We will also hold 4 to 6 additional races as fillers for this
Sunday race. We will purchase serarate insurance for these additional races.
