RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO EMERGENCY MEDICAL
SERVICES COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Emergency Medical Services Council, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended to reappoint Gary McCabe as the Weld County
Ambulance representative, Donovan Ehrman as the North Colorado Medical Care
representative, Marlene Richter as the Northeast Fire representative, and Dr. Jim Campain as
the North Colorado Emergency Physicians' representative to said board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended to appoint Tim Zimmerman to replace Ron
Dever, Tom Bizzell to replace Cloyd Conley, Mark Gray to replace Randy Houtchen as the Fire
Chiefs Association representative, Brandy Houston to replace Yvonne Duarte as the Southwest
Fire representative, and Jon Baker to replace Jim McEachron as the Weld County
Communications representative, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Gary McCabe, Donovan Ehrman,
Marlene Richter, and Dr. Jim Campain to said board, with their terms to expire January 1, 2004.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Gary McCabe, Donovan Ehrman, Marlene Richter, and Dr. Jim
Campain be, and hereby are, reappointed to the Emergency Medical Services Council, with
their terms to expire January 1, 2004.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Tim Zimmerman, Mark Gray, and
Brandy Houston be, and hereby are, appointed to the Emergency Medical Services Council,
with their terms to expire January 1, 2002.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Tom Bizzell and Jon Baker be, and
hereby are, appointed to the Emergency Medical Services Council with their terms to expire
January 1, 2003.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
