RE : DECLARATION OF SURPLUS PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, finds that the house located on county owned property,
aka the Koenig property near Platteville, Colorado, is no
longer needed for governmental purposes, and desires to dispose
of said structure, and
WHEREAS, the property on which said house is located is
more particularly described as follows:
Part of the Southeast quarter of Section 13,
Township 2 North, Range 67 West of the 6th
P.M. , Weld County, Colorado.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has received
a letter of request from Walt Turner to remove the house, and
WHEREAS, Walt Turner agrees to hold Weld County harmless
for any damages, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to declare said
house as surplus property and accept the letter of agreement
from Walt Turner, attached hereto and made a part hereof by
reference, for the removal of said house from the property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the above described
house located on the county owned property, aka the Koenig
property, be, and hereby is, declared to be surplus property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the offer of Walt Turner to
remove the house be, and hereby is, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Walt Turner agrees to indemnify
and hold harmless, the County of Weld, the Board of County
Commissioners, its officers, agents and employees, from any and
all liability, loss or damages, including attorney fees arising
out of or during the removal of said house.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Walt Turner shall have said
structure removed totally within the next 60 days.
The above and foregoing Resolution was on motion duly
made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 26th
day of May, A.D. , 1982 .
