Dear Commissioners,
Enclosed are photographs of Mr. Larry Stephens' residence at 14627 CR 22, Fort Lupton,
Colorado. The reason I am sending you these photographs is to share with you the
unsightly conditions of Mr. Stephens' property that I am faced with looking at every day.
The reason that I want to share this with you is because about four years ago the County
Commissioners awarded Mr. Stephens an exemption to allow him to move his single-
wide mobile home to this address. At that hearing, my formal protest to the County
Commissioners was overridden and the County Commissioners agreed to let Mr.
Stephens move his single wide mobile home to this site, providing that the property be
kept neat and orderly.
As you can see from the photographs, it is anything but neat and orderly, if fact, it has the
appearance of an unlicensed junkyard. At any one time, there are a number of inoperable
vehicles on the property. The manner in which the pickup campers are set up gives the
perception that there are people living in those units.
The County Commissioners made the decision to allow Mr. Stephens to put a single-wide
mobile home on this property with the caveat that the premises be kept neat and orderly.
Would the County Commissioners please take the necessary steps to see that Mr.
Stephens upholds his end of the agreement: to keep a neat and clean appearance to his
property.
