Box 758 Greeley, CO 80632 Dear Members of BOE: The Assessor's valuation of my property is probably wrong, primarily because the Assessor has inaccurate data. My finished square footage is 2400, whereas the Assessor is using 3100. My wife and I would accept a valuation of about 190,000. If we used the per sq. ft. figure that corresponds to the assessor's valuation inaccurately based on 3100, the valuation would be about 162,500. Really, all we want is fair, equitable treatment, and I am confident that's what the Assessor wants, too. I look forward to our resolving this disagreement. In fact, if the Assessor would agree to a valuation of about 190,000, it would not be necessary for us all to meet. This hearing will be held at the Weld County Centennial Center, First Floor Hearing Room, 915 10th Street, Greeley, Colorado. You have a right to attend this hearing and present evidence in support of your petition. The Weld County Assessor or his designee will be present.
