RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS-
SIONERS OF WELD COUNTY, COLORADO TO CONVEY REAL PROPERTY.
QM WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
m
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Weld County has acquired, and is the owner of the
following described real property, duly recorded in the records
of the County Clerk and Recorder of the County of Weld, State of
Colorado, as follows, to-wit:

in the La Salle Leader, Greeley Tribune and Longmont Times-Call

co on May 6, 1982 and May 13 , 1982. Said property has been duly

offered for sale at a public meeting of the Board of County
Commissioners on the 2nd day of June, 1982, in the Chambers of
the Board, and
WHEREAS, Robert S. Trevino, 212 S. Cora Avenue, Milliken,
CO 80543, bid Forty Dollars ($40 . 00) as the purchase price for
said property and being the only bid submitted, said property

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado that John T. Martin,
Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado be, and hereby is, constituted and appointed and ordered
to convey, without covenants of warranty, to Robert S. Trevino,
the aforementioned property, as abovedescribed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that as to such conveyance, John
T. Martin is authorized to affix the seal of Weld County and
said conveyance shall have the effect to transfer to Robert S .
Trevino all right and interest which Weld County has in and to
the abovedescribed property. Weld County does not warrant title.

Subject: PUBLIC SALE - TREASURER DEEDS
Attached please find a copy of the notice that we have prepared pursuant
to CRS 39-11-143, as amended. The last public sale on Treasurer's
deeds was conducted on June 13, 1979. Since that date we have received
Treasurer deeds on the properties listed on the attached notice. We have
scheduled the public sale for June 2, 1982, at 2:00 P. M.
Also find enclosed a certification from the County Assessor which contains
the assessed value and actual values on each parcel.
Since 1979 our office has accumulated names and addresses of( several
individuals who are interested in Weld County's next public sale. Each
of these individuals will be mailed a copy of the public notice. The
notice will also be published in the county legal newspaper, the Tribune,
Longmont Times Call and be posted on the Bulletin Board.
We have contacted the County Engineer, Drew Scheltinga, regarding these
properties. He has informed us that he can see no future need for said
properties.
We are giving you this information in advance so you may become familiar
with the properties and possible values in advance of the public sale.

39-11-143. Appraisal - county may rent or sell. (1) Whenever such real
estate is conveyed by a treasurer to the county by tax deed under section
S : , 39-11-142, the assessor shall annually value the same in the manner prescribed

sN (3) Whenever such real estate is leased by the board of county commis-

of the board of county commissioners; but no lease shall be for a period

assessment of the same. A notice of such sale shall be posted in a public
place in the county courthouse at least thirty days before the date of sale,
and such notice of sale shall also be advertised in two issues of a newspaper
of general circulation in the county in which the property is situated, said
newspaper notices to appear one week apart and within the thirty days as
above provided. Such notice shall reserve the right upon the part of the board
of county commissioners to reject any or all bids which are less than the
value determined by the assessor. Said notice shall be substantially in the

(b) Such real estate may be sold at public sale when and if the board
of county commissioners receives a bid for any lots or parcels which in the
discretion of the board of county commissioners is a sufficient purchase
price. Such real estate may be sold in such lots or parcels and upon such
terms of payment as the board of county commissioners deems acceptable,

Upon written application of any person, the board of county commissioners
shall offer for sale the property requested by such person to be sold; except
that no parcel shall be divided for the purpose of such requested sale unless

offer for sale any lots or parcels as it may determine to be useful or necessary
