RE: REMOVE FROM BOARD' S AGENDA ITEM ENTITLED, "PROPOSED CREATION
OF THREE SPECIAL TAXING DISTRICTS FOR AMBULANCE AND EMERGENCY
MEDICAL TREATMENT"
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on September 15, 1982 , the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Weld County, Colorado proposed to create three special
taxing districts for ambulance and emergency medical treatment
in Weld County, and
WHEREAS , public hearings were held concerning the above
mentioned proposal, and
WHEREAS, the Board has reviewed the comments from those in
favor of, and those opposed to, said proposal, and
WHEREAS, after study and review, the Board deems it advisable
and in the best interests of the citizens of Weld County to re-
move said item from the Board' s agenda.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the item entitled, "Pro-
posed Creation of Three Special Taxing Districts for Ambulance and
Emergency Medical Treatment" shall be removed from the Board' s
agenda.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that an Ad Hoc Committee
be formed to further study said proposal. Said Ad Hoc Committee
is to be chaired by the Health Department Coordinator and Donald
Warden, Director of Finance and Administrative Services , shall
be a member thereof.

The, above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 13th day of
October, A.D. , 1982.
