RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENT TO PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Planning Commission, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Luis Llerena be appointed to said board as
the at-large representative, to replace Arlan Marrs, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Stephen Mokray be reappointed to said
board as the District 4 representative, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Luis Llerena and reappoint
Stephen Mokray to said board, with their terms to expire July 31, 2004.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Luis Llerena be, and hereby is, appointed to the Planning
Commission, with his term to expire July 31, 2004.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Stephen Mokray be, and hereby is, reappointed to the Planning Commission,
with his term to expire July 31, 2004.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 6th day of August, A.D., 2001.
