RE: _'ase Number USR-1322—Sparboe Horizon Corporation Pullet Replacement Farm
Dear Sir:
On behalf of Platte Valley Airport residents, hangar tenants, visitors and Platte Valley
Hangar Owners Association, I would like to express our serious concerns and objection to
the proposed Pullet Replacement Farm.
During the late spring, summer and fall seasons we are already plagued with an
unmanageable fly problem. These are the months during which the majority of our business
activity occurs. We have regularly scheduled.outdoor events as well as extensive weekend
aircraft activity. There have been many occasions when we could not comfortably utilize our
airport office or main hangar facility due to the fly problem resulting from the surrounding
poultry and livestock operations.
We are very concerned that the proposed pullet replacement farm would definitely add to an
already intolerable situation.
