RESOLUTION
RE: ACCEPT VARIOUS STREETS, AVENUES, AND BOULEVARDS FOR FULL
MAINTENANCE - CAMFIELD TOWN SITE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended various streets, avenues,
and boulevards in the Camfield Town Site, be accepted by Weld County for full maintenance, as
follows, and being further defined in the Director's Memorandum dated June 19, 2003, attached
hereto:
Boulevard A Railroad Street
Boulevard B Second Avenue
Boulevard D Third Avenue
Boulevard E
WHEREAS, the total length of said roads is approximately 1.92 miles; acceptance of said
streets for full maintenance includes snow removal and any necessary repairs, including the
roadways, shoulders, or drainage ditches, but excepting therefrom the provision of drainage
from properties adjacent to such streets, avenues, and boulevards; and street signs and stop
signs have been placed at the approach to key intersections where necessary, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to accept said streets for full
maintenance, as that term specified above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that various streets, avenues, and boulevards in the Camfield Town
Site, as defined above, be, and hereby are, accepted onto the Weld County road system for full
maintenance by Weld County, as that term is specified above.

SUBJECT: Acceptance of Road Maintenance
of the Camfield Town Site.
The Weld County Public Works Department recommends the acceptance of certain roads for
full County maintenance in the Camfield Town Site. The following streets, avenues, and
boulevards shall be maintained by Weld County. A road inventory for length and width will be
done and placed on the Highway Users Tax Fund (HUTF) system.
• Boulevard A— center line of WCR 51 to center line of railroad street 1771± feet
• Boulevard B — center line of WCR 51 to center line of railroad street 1726±feet
• Boulevard D — center line of WCR 51 to center line of railroad street 1626±feet
• Boulevard E — center line of WCR 51 to center line of railroad street 1580± feet
• Railroad Street—south cul-de-sac to north cul-de-sac 2453 ±feet
• Second Avenue — south of Boulevard E to end of cul-de-sac 248±feet
• Second Avenue — north of Boulevard A to end of cul-de-sac 256 ±feet
• Third Avenue — south of Boulevard E to end of cul-de-sac 244±feet
• Third Avenue — north of Boulevard A to end of cul-de-sac 263±feet
The total length of the proposed roads being submitted for full maintenance is approximately
1.92 miles.
Street signs and stop signs have been placed at the approach to key intersections where
necessary.
Please refer to the Camfield vicinity map for approximate locations of the streets, avenues, and
boulevards.
