A regular meeting of the Weld County Utilities Coordinating Advisory Committee was held on Thursday,
June 12, 2003, at 10:00 a.m., in the Conference Room of the Weld County Planning Department at 1555
N. 17th Avenue, Greeley, Colorado.
Members Present: Doug Melby, Evans F.P.D.; Jerry Adams, Greeley Gas; Peter Schei, Weld County
Public Works; Don Somer, Qwest; Brent Schafranek, St.Vrain Sanitation.
Also Present: Chris Gathman, Planner; Voneen Macklin, Secretary.
1. APPLICANT: Don & Lisa Buxman (Buxman Estates)
CASE NUMBER: MF-603
PLANNER: Chris Gathman
REQUEST: Final Plan for an 8-Lot Minor Subdivision for E (Estate)uses
LEGAL: Part W2SW4 Section 21,T6N, R66W of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
LOCATION: East of and adjacent to CR 29; approximately 1/4 mile north of CR 66
Chris Gathman, Planner, presented MF-1042 with the Department of Planning Service's
recommendation for approval.
Jerry Adams indicated that the plat does not delineate the easements of 15 feet on the front and sides.
He would recommend labeling the plats with all the applicable easements.
Chris Gathman stated that a Condition could be added to state that all easements will be delineated on the
plat prior to recording.
Peter Schei stated that there are no easements indicated on the west sides of Lots 6-8 and Lot 1. These
should also be included in the condition. Utility easements shall be a minimum of twenty(20)feet in width
in this location.
Don Somer asked if the road was going to be maintained by the HOA or would it be dedicated to the
County. Mr. Schei stated it would be dedicated to the city once the warranty period was completed.
Jerry Adams moved to approve along with the amended Conditions of Approval. Don Somer seconded
motion. Motion carried.
