HomeMy WebLinkAbout20031832.tiff RESOLUTION 737 RE: APPROVE PARTIAL VACATION OF SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT#1208 - HENRY AND CAROL KARRE WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, by Resolution dated April 21, 1999, the Board did approve Special Review Permit#1208 for a Public Recreational Facility(paint ball field)in the A(Agricultural)Zone District for Henry and Carol Karre, 2240 East 24th Street, Greeley, Colorado 80631, on the following described real estate, to-wit: Lot A of Recorded Exemption #3525; located in Section 15,Township 5 North, Range 65 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado WHEREAS, in accordance with Sections 23-2-200.G and 23-2-260.D, the Board has received a request from Henry and Carol Karre, do Colorado Land Associates, 800 8th Avenue, Suite 235, Greeley, Colorado 80631, for the partial vacation said Use by Special Review Permit #1208, as well as a revised map illustrating the vacated portion of the property and the existing permit, and WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners heard all of the testimony and statements of those present,studied the request of the applicant and the recommendations of the Department of Planning Services staff and all of the exhibits and evidence presented in this matter and, having been fully informed, deems it advisable to approve said partial vacation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,Colorado,that Use by Special Review Permit#1208 be,and hereby is,partially vacated as indicated on the revised map. Mr. and Mrs. Karre are requesting a partial vacation of USR-1208 in accordance with Section 23-2-200.G of the Weld County Code. Background information: Legal Description: Section 15, T5N, R65W of the 6th P.M., Weld County, CO. Location: South of and adjacent to East 24") Street and west of and adjacent to Highway 34. The site is east of the City of Greeley. USR-1208: USR-1208 is for a recreational facility (paint ball field). Mr. and Mrs. Karre recently applied for Recorded Exemption 3525. The portion to be vacated from the USR is Lot A of RE-3525.
