WELD COUNTY COUNCIL

The Weld County Council met in regular session in full conformity with the
Weld County Home Rule Charter at 915 Tenth Street, Greeley, Colorado, September 18,
1980, at 1:30 p.m.
ROLL CALL
The following members were present:
Councilman Ralph Waldo, Jr. , President
Councilman Robert Martin, Sr. , Vice President
Councilwoman Patricia Anderson
Councilman Howard Foster
Councilman Floyd Oliver
Also present were two members of the press and council secretary, Susan Elton.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Councilman Robert Martin made a motion to approve the minutes from the
September 4, 1980, meeting of the Weld County Council as written. Councilman Floyd
Oliver seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.
DELETIONS TO THE AGENDA
Road & Bridge report from Stanley Smith Securities, Inc.
Proposed ammendment from Robert Ray.
CORRESPONDENCE
Items .in the correspondence folder were available for each council member to
examine.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Budget Work Session Schedule. The council will try to be represented at
each of the scheduled work sessions. Council members proposed the following
schedule for themselves:
Tuesday, October 7 Pat Anderson
Thursday, October 9 Bob Martin
Friday, October 10 Floyd Oliver
Tuesday, October 14 Pat Anderson
Thursday, October 16 Howard Foster
Friday, October 17 Ralph Waldo
NEW BUSINESS
Reports to release to the public. The Weld County Council released two more
investigative reports that delt with confidential communications from the Sheriff's
Department and county purchasing policies. Robert Martin made a motion that the
reports entitled General Overview, and Information Criminal Investigations, be ap-
proved for release to the public. Motion seconded by Pat Anderson, carried unani-
mously.
Requisition for Office Supplies. Motion made by Floyd Oliver, seconded by
Howard Foster, passed unanimously, to approve the purchase of the requisitioned
office supplies.
