RESOLUTION
RE: GRANT REQUEST OF REUBEN AND MARGARET BREH.M TO PROCEED WITH
PRESENTATION TO WELD COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT CONCERNING
CONSTRUCTION OF AN EQUIPMENT SHED IN COUNTY RIGHT-OF-WAY
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Reuben and Margaret Brehm desire to construct an
equipment shed in the right-of-way of Weld County on County Road
No. 5, and
WHEREAS , Reuben and Margaret Brehm are requesting that the
Board of County Commissioners grant them permission to make a
presentation concerning this matter, to the Weld County Board
of Adjustment, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it appropriate to
grant Reuben and Margaret Brehm permission to present this mat-
ter to the Weld County Board of Adjustment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that Reuben and Margaret
Brehm be, and hereby are, granted permission to proceed with a
presentation to the Weld County Board of Adjustment concerning
the construction of an equipment shed in County right-of-way.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 26th day of
October, A.D. , 1983 .

Enclosed is an application from Reuben and Margaret Brehm
for a twenty (20) foot variance from a twenty (20) foot setback in the "A" .
(Agricultural) Zone District
The parcel of land is described as the NW4, Section 4, T4N, R68W of the
6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado .
The location of the parcel of land for which this application has been
submitted is approximately 5 miles west of Johnstown; east of Weld County Road 5
and south of Highway 60
This application is submitted to your office for review and recommenda-
tions . Any comments or recommendations you consider relevant to this
request would be appreciated. Your prompt reply will help to facili-
tate the processing of the proposal and will ensure prompt considera-
tion of your recommendations . If a response from your office is not
received within 14 days of mailing from our office, it may be in-
terpreted to mean approval by your office. If you are unable to _
respond within 14 days (but wish to do so at a later date) please
notify our office to that effect.

COMMENTS:
Access is from Weld County Road 5, a gravel road. The improvements consist of a
residence, a large shed, barn and outbuildings. The proposed shed would be located
directly west of the existing shed. The variance is needed in order to maintain
adequate room to manuever farm equipment and trucks on the property. Placement of _
the shed adjacent to Weld County Road 5 will not obstruct visibility on Highway 60.

Construct an equipment shed in a County right-of-way
WW1/4, Section 4, T4N, R68W of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado
Approximately. five (5) miles west of Johnstown; east of Weld County Road
5 and south of Highway 60
Mr. and Mrs. Brehm are requesting permission to proceed with a case
presentation to the Board of Adjustment in order to construct an equip-
ment shed in the right-of-way of Weld County Road 5, immediately south
of Colorado State Highway 60. Placement of the'shed would utilize
twelve (12) feet of the County right-of-way on' ;theieast side of the
centerline of Weld County Road 5. The total right-,of-way at this location
is sixty (60) feet.
- Placement of the shed in the right-of-way will not
obstruct visibility of vehicles traveling State
Highway 60 or Weld County Road 5;
- Weld County Engineering Department has reviewed this
proposal and has no objections;
- The proposed location is the only reasonable location
because of the existing improvements and', the physical
design of the farm;
- The Department of Planning Services staff has received
no objections to this proposal.

one-third of one share of the Capital Stock of The Big Thompson Ditch
and Manufacturing Company,a one-third interest in the pipe line from
the Handy Ditch to be used for the irrigation of said described land,
and also six shares of the Capital Stock of The Consolidated Home
Supply Ditch and Reservoir Company, and all ditch and lateral rights
used in the irrigation of said land.
Grantor to pay 1947 taxes in 1948 and.to__have landlordts s share of crop
grown on said land in 1947. ,
