To Whom It May Concern:
I have, in the past, strenuously objected to the kennel proposed by the Hathaway's
located at 7673 Weld County Road 6. I was heavily influenced by inaccurate information
from a group of neighbors. I have recently reached a different conclusion.
In personal conversations with Mike and Heather, I now have a much clearer
understanding of their business and it's impact on my community and me.
Initially, my concerns were about dogs running free and the noise they would generate. I
now understand that the animals will remain caged and for the most part be kept indoors.
I understand that the dogs will not be allowed to roam free and that the newly constructed
kennel will have noise abatement systems in place.
I trust that Mike and Heather will be pro-active and responsible business owners and
neighbors. I am confident that they will do their best to protect their clients as well as
genuinely address any concerns of their neighbors. Please include this letter of support in
their file.
