RE: APPROVAL OF SUBDIVISION EXEMPTION NO. 141 - GREAT PLAINS
CHEMICAL COMPANY.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado has reviewed the request of Great Plains Chemical
Company for an exemption from the definitions of "subdivision"
and "subdivided land" in Section 30-28-101 (10) , CRS 1973 , as
amended, and Section 2-1 of the Weld County Subdivision
Regulations, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners finds that
Great Plains Chemical Company is the owners of certain parcels
of land located in part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 32 ,
Township 6 North, Range 65 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County,
Colorado, being more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
TRACT "A"
A tract of land located in the North West Quarter
of Section 32, Township 6 North, Range 65 West of
the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at the North Quarter Corner of said
Section 32, and considering the North line of said
North West Quarter to bear North 90°00 ' 00" West
and with all other bearings contained herein
relative thereto:
Thence North 90°00 ' 00" West along the North line of
said North West Quarter, 1084. 41 feet;
Thence South 00°00 ' 00" West, 20. 00 feet to a point
on the South right-of-way line of the existing
40 foot wide Weld County Road #64, said point being

parcels be, and hereby are, declared to be exempt from the
definitions of "subdivision" and "subdivided land" as set
forth in Section 30-28-101 (10) , CRS 1973, as amended, and
Section 2-1 of the Weld County Subdivision Regulations, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the resulting
parcels of land as described herein be, and hereby are,
considered to be single lots.

My partnership applied for and received Subdivision
Exemption #125 during 1980.. Circumstances have changed
for us during the past six months and we now find it
necessary, in order to take advantage of a very attractive
financing package, to change the accepted description
of our two lots. Therefore, this letter accompanies an
application for Subdivision Exemption which will include
one lot that has improvements on it and another which
is undeveloped. We still intend to follow through with
subdivision of the undeveloped parcel; however, we will
wait to proceed until the real estate market and interest
rates will allow such a venture to be profitable.
Thom Rounds will be representing our interests in this
matter at your meeting. Should you have any questions
or require additional information, please contact either
