RE: ACTION OF BOARD AT SHOW CAUSE HEARING CONCERNING AMENDED USE BY
SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT#685 FORAKENNELAND BOARDING FACILITY(NOT TO
EXCEED 140 DOGS AND 20 CATS) IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT -
MATT AND BECKY FOSHER
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on December 17, 2003, a Show Cause Hearing was conducted to consider
revocation of Amended Use by Special Review Permit#685 fora Kennel and Boarding Facility(not
to exceed 140 dogs and 20 cats) in the A(Agricultural)Zone District, issued to Stephanie Stokes
on May 20, 1992, and
WHEREAS,Matt and Becky Fosher,32801 Weld County Road 27,Greeley,Colorado 80631,
are the current owners of the facility located on property being further described as follows:
Part of the SW1/4 of Section 16, Township 6 North,
Range 66 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS,after hearing all testimony presented,the Board deemed it advisable to continue
said hearing to December 29, 2003, to allow staff adequate time for publication of a legal notice.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County,Colorado,that the Show Cause Hearing concerning revocation of Amended Use by Special
Review Permit #685, currently held by Matt and Becky Fosher, be, and hereby is, continued to
December 29, 2003, at 10:00 a.m.
