Subject: Erie-Tri-town IGA
Dear Commissioners:
The Daily Times-Call reported that Erie officials had voiced an interest in reversing the town government's
previous stand and be included in the Tri-town IGA[as distinguished from the Erie-Dacono plan]. Since,
some Tri-town officials, in particular from Firestone government[which hasn't seen fit to abide by some of
its baseline standards and seems determined to go its own way in other proposals for mutual cooperation
between jurisdictions] have expressed dissatisfaction with some of the terms of the IGA, it would seem
that negotiating to include Erie in the subject IGA may open a whole can of worms related to renegotiation
of some of its terms in order to gain approval to include Erie.
