Home My WebLink About840050 A1219573a9 _ RESOLUTION RE: AMENDMENT TO ELECTRICAL PERMITS FEE SCHEDULE WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado , and WHEREAS , on February 22 , 1984 , the Board of County Commis- sioners of Weld County, Colorado held a public hearing in its Chambers on the first floor of the Weld County Centennial Cen- ter for the purpose of considering an amendment to the Weld County Electrical Permits fee schedule which became effective January 1 , 1984 , and WHEREAS, said amendment shall delete the words , "but not more than $50 , 000 . 00" , which comes under the heading VALUATION OF WORK on the current fee schedule for Electrical Permits, and WHEREAS, the Board heard the testimony and favorable recom- mendation of the Weld County Department of Planning Services , and WHEREAS, the Board deems it to be in the best interest of Weld County to approve said amendment to the Electrical Permits Fee Schedule, and WHEREAS , a copy of the amended Electrical Permits fee schedule is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, marked as Exhibit "A" . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com- missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Weld County Elec- trical Permits fee schedule shall be amended to read as per the attached Exhibit "A" . Lee Morrison, Assistant County Attorney, read this request into the record. Chuck Cunliffe, Planning Department Director, read the Planning staff's recommendation for approval into the record. Mr. Cunliffe said this amendment was not considered to be of such significance to warrant consideration by the Planning Commission; therefore, this matter had not come before the Planning Commission. He explained that this amend- ment is requested to delete the words, "but not more than $50,000.00", which come under the heading VALUATION OF WORK on the current fee schedule for electrical permits. Mr. Cunliffe said this wording had been inadvertently transposed from the old fee schedule to the current fcc schedule. After a short discussion, Commissioner C. Carlson moved to approve this amendment to the fee schedule for electrical permits. Commissioner Martin seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.
