RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO FAMILIES, YOUTH AND
CHILDREN COMMISSION (FYC)
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Families, Youth and Children Commission
(FYC), and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Juan Lopez to said Commission, as
the School District representative, to replace Janet Flaugher; appoint Tony Molocznik as the
Accountant representative, to replace Charles Anderson; appoint Lynne Post as the Law
Enforcement representative, to replace John Michaels; and appoint Joe Gerber as Probation
Department representative, to replace Tracey Frank, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Juan Lopez to said board, with his
term to expire December 31, 2005; appoint Tony Molocznik, with his term to expire
December 31, 2003; appoint Lynne Post, with his term to expire December 31, 2004; and to
appoint Joe Gerber, with his term to expire December 31, 2005.
WHEREAS, the Board also deems it advisable to reappoint Dr. Daniel Fahrenholtz to
said Commission with a term to expire December 31, 2004; reappoint Theodore Palmisano with
a term to expire December 31, 2003; reappoint Tracy Baldo with a term to expire December 31,
2004; and reappoint Jennifer Higgins with a term to expire December 31, 2005.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Juan Lopez, Tony Molocznik, Lynne Post, Joe Gerber be, and
hereby are, appointed to membership on the FYC, with terms expiring as listed above.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Dr. Daniel Fahrenholtz, Theodore
Palmisano, Tracy Baldo, and Jennifer Higgins be, and hereby are, reappointed to membership
on the FYC, with terms expiring as listed above.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 10th day of February, A.D., 2003, nunc pro tunc November 1, 2002.
