RE: HEARING TO SHOW WHETHER GOOD CAUSE EXISTS FOR REVOCATION OF
AMENDED USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT#685 FOR A KENNEL AND BOARDING
FACILITY (NOT TO EXCEED 140 DOGS AND 20 CATS) IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL)
ZONE DISTRICT - MATT AND BECKY FOSHER
A public hearing was conducted on December 17, 2003, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner David E. Long, Chair
Commissioner Robert D. Masden, Pro-Tern
Commissioner M. J. Geile
Commissioner William H. Jerke
Commissioner Glenn Vaad
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Esther Gesick
Assistant County Attorney, Lee Morrison
Planning Department representative, Sheri Lockman
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a Probable Cause hearing conducted on November 10, 2003, a
public hearing was conducted to consider whether good cause exists for revocation of Amended
Use by Special Review Permit#685, currently held by Matt and Becky Fosher, for a Kennel and
Boarding Facility (not to exceed 140 dogs and 20 cats) in the A(Agricultural) Zone District. Sheri
Lockman, Department of Planning Services, stated due to a staff oversite, a notice was not
submitted to the legal newpaperto meet the ten-day publication deadline. However,staff has since
sent a notice setting a new hearing date for December 29, 2003. No public testimony was offered
concerning this matter.
Commissioner Masden moved to continue the Hearing to show whether good cause exists for
revocation of Amended Use by Special Review Permit#685 for a Kennel and Boarding Facility(not
to exceed 140 dogs and 20 cats) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District to December 29, 2003, at
10:00 a.m., based on the recommendation of staff. The motion was seconded by Commissioner
Jerke, and it carried unanimously. There being no further discussion, the hearing was completed
at 10:15 a.m.
