Dear Commissioner Carlson:
The purpose of this letter is to thank you for cooperating with Boulder County ,
in the 16.7 million dollar single family housing mortgage revenue bond issue
in 1983. Without your cooperation in transferring your bond allocation to
Boulder County, neither of our programs would have been viable.
•
Currently, lenders are accepting loans for first time home buyers with an
interest rate of 10.8% on a 30-year fixed rate mortgage. We trust there will
be other housing mortgage revenue bond issues in the future in which we can
cooperate together to our mutual interest.
