RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO AREA AGENCY ON
AGING
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Area Agency on Aging, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that John Andrijeski be appointed to said board
to replace James Holman; that Phyllis Rangel be appointment to said board to replace Marlene
Stiever; and that George "Phil" Shovar be appointed as an additional member, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Mary Jones and Diane Warren be
reappointed to said board, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint John Andrijeski, Phyllis Rangel,
and George "Phil" Shovar to said board, and reappoint Mary Jones and Diane Warren with
terms to expire January 31, 2006.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that John Andrijeski, Phyllis Rangel, and George "Phil" Shovar be, and
hereby are, appointed to the Area Agency on Aging; and that Mary Jones and Diane Warren,
be and hereby are, reappointed to the Area Agency on Aging, all with term to expire
January 31, 2006.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 19th day of February, A.D., 2003.
