Home My WebLink About820376.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE AMENDMENT TO FIREWORKS DISPLAY LICENSE FOR PLATTE- VILLE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TO BE HELD ON OCTOBER 3, 1982 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, on the 30th day of August, 1982, the Board of County Commissioners granted a license for fireworks display to be held on September 12, 1982, to the Platteville Chamber of Commerce, and WHEREAS, due to inclement weather, the Platteville Chamber of Commerce was unable to conduct said fireworks display, and WHEREAS, the Platteville Chamber of Commerce is now request- ing that the Board approve an amendment to said fireworks display license changing the date of display from September 12, 1982, to October 3, 1982, with the display to be at Highway 85 and Weld County Road 30 and to be ignited approximately 1/4 mile from Highway 85, and WHEREAS, the Board deems it appropriate to approve the amend- ment to the fireworks display license in order that the display may now be conducted on October 3, 1982. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com- missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the request of the Platte- ville Chamber of Commerce to amend the date of the fireworks dis- play license to read October 3, 1982, be, and hereby is, approved subject to approval by the Weld County Sheriff' s Office; approval by the fire district; and the posting of a $1, 000 bond. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 29th day of September, A.D. , 1982.
