RE: APPROVE REAPPOINTMENTS TO WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Workforce Development Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Joanne Fenton be reappointed to said board
as a large business representative; that Lucille Mantelli be reappointed as a large business
representative; that Linda Conte be reappointed as the rehabilitation services representative;
that Dana Rutz be reappointed as the small business-service representative; that Joyce
Johnson be reappointed as the Department of Labor and Employment associate member
representative; that Alvina Derrera be reappointed as the migrant and seasonal farm workers
representative; and that Alicia Ziegler be reappointed as the adult literacy representative, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Joanne Fenton, Lucille Mantelli,
Linda Conte, Dana Rutz, Joyce Johnson, Alvina Derrera, and Alicia Ziegler to said board, with
terms to expire December 31, 2005.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Joanne Fenton, Lucille Mantelli, Linda Conte, Dana Rutz, Joyce
Johnson, Alvina Derrera, and Alicia Ziegler be, and hereby are, reappointed to the Workforce
Development Board, with terms to expire December 31, 2005.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 22nd day of January, A.D., 2003.
