RE : APPOINTMENT OF HAZEL CHICK AND JULIE SHADE, AND REAPPOINT-
MENT OF RUTH GARTRELL AS MEMBERS OF THE WELD COUNTY LIBRARY
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Weld County
Library Board of Trustees , and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Hazel Chick and Julie
Shade be appointed to serve on said Board for a term to begin
June 25 , 1984, and expire May 1, 1987, and
WHEREAS , it has been recommended that Ruth Gartrell be
reappointed to serve on said Board for a three year term to
expire May 1, 1987, and
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners desires to appoint
Hazel Chick and Julie Shade, and to reappoint Ruth Gartrell to the
Weld County Library Board of Trustees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Hazel Chick and Julie
Shade be, and hereby are, appointed to serve on the Weld County
Library Board of Trustees for a term to expire on May 1, 1987 .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Ruth Gartrell, be,
and hereby is , reappointed to serve on the Weld County Library
Board of Trustees for a three year term to expire on May 1, 1987 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 25th day of
June, A.D. , 1984.
