RE: CHANGE OF ZONE#1029 FROM THE A(AGRICULTURAL)ZONE DISTRICT TO THE I-3
(INDUSTRIAL) ZONE DISTRICT - STEVE BRANCUCCI
A public hearing was conducted on April 9, 2003, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner David E. Long, Chair
Commissioner Robert D. Masden, Pro-Tem
Commissioner M. J. Geile
Commissioner William H. Jerke - EXCUSED
Commissioner Glenn Vaad
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Esther Gesick
Assistant County Attorney, Lee Morrison
Planning Department representative, Kim Ogle
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated March 14, 2003, and duly published March 20,2003,
in the South Weld Sun, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Steve Brancucci
for Change of Zone#1029 from the A(Agricultural)Zone District to the 1-3 (Industrial)Zone District
in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. Lee Morrison, Assistant County Attorney, made this a matter
of record. Kim Ogle, Department of Planning Services, stated staff received a letter from the
applicant, marked Exhibit F, requesting an indefinite continuance. He stated staff supports the
request and recommends the matter be referred back to the Department of Planning Services. Mr.
Ogle stated the applicant and representative are not present. No public testimony was offered
concerning this matter.
Commissioner Vaad moved to refer the request of Steve Brancucci for Change of Zone#1029 from
the A (Agricultural) Zone District to the 1-3 (Industrial) Zone District in the A (Agricultural) Zone
District, back to the Department of Planning Services while the applicant works to research and
address outstanding issues. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Geile, and it carried
unanimously. There being no further discussion, the hearing was completed at 10:12 a.m.
