RE: APPROVE REAPPOINTMENT OF RUTH McELRATH TO THE BOARD OF
ADJUSTMENT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Board of Adjust-
ment due to the resignation of Willis Piper who represented Dis-
trict 6 , and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Ruth McElrath, who is
currently filling an At-Large position on the Board of Adjustment,
be reappointed to replace Willis Piper in District 6 , with her
term to expire December 31 , 1985, and
WHEREAS , the Board desires to reappoint Ruth McElrath to
the Board of Adjustment to represent District 6 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that Ruth McElrath be, and
hereby is, reappointed to the Board of Adjustment, vacating her
At-Large position and to represent District 6 , with her term to
expire on December 31 , 1985.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 25th day of
January, A.D. , 1984 .

Reappointment of Ruth McElrath who is now in an AT LARGE
position on the Board of Adjustment to Advisory Board Area
#6 of the same board. She will fill position vacated by
Willis Piper who resigned. Term will expire 12-31-85.

Dear Gordon,
It is with regret that I must submit my resignation
from the Board of Adjustment as I have recently
taken employment in Boulder, Colorado.
I have enjoyed serving on the board these last
four years and wish to commend you all for your
dedication and professionalism. I have certainly
learned and benefited from my association with the
Board. I also wish to express my appreciation to
the xounty Planning Department for all their help.
