RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF BONNIE VEIK TO HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Human Services Committee, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Bonnie Veik be appointed to said board as the
Disabled Community representative, to replace Gladys Bolander, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Bonnie Veik to said board,with a term
to expire December 31, 2005.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County,Colorado,that Bonnie Veik be,and hereby is,appointed to the Human Services Committee,
with a term to expire December 31, 2005.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 10th day of November, A.D., 2003, nunc pro tunc February 7, 2002.
