Long and Commissioners M. J. Geile, William H. Jerke, Robert D. We had earlier supplied documentation in support of our request, dated February 20, 2002. You had contacted us on June 13, 2002 requesting proof of farming of the parcel for the 2001 farming year. Attached is the following additional documentation in support of our petition: 1. USDA/FSA Report of Acreage for the subject property, Farm#3922, for Program Year 2001. This is Mr. Adler's certification of crops and land uses for the property for 2001. 2. USDA/FSA Abbreviated 156 Farm Record, Farm#3922, for Crop Year 2001. 3. We had previously provided to you the farm lease agreement for 2001. This was signed by Concepts Direct, Inc., not LifeBridge Christian Church. Concepts Direct signed the agreement on our behalf and with our permission, since they were the owner of the property until December 21, 2000, and had negotiated prior agreements. It seems that the fact that a farming agreement was in effect, regardless of who signed it, should meet the requirement for a farming agreement for the property. If necessary for your records, LifeBridge can sign the agreement after the fact. 4. Warranty Deed for the property showing ownership of the property by LifeBridge Christian Church as of December 21, 2000. We trust this information will provide adequate proof of farming of the parcel for the 2001 tax year, and will substantiate our petition for refund of taxes for 2001.
