RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO UNIFORM BUILDING
CODE BOARD OF APPEALS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Uniform Building Code Board of Appeals,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Larry Jorgensen be appointed to said board
as the electrician representative, to replace Perry Miller, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that James Fassler be reappointed to said board
as the representative with general construction experience; and that Bill Delap be reappointed
to said board as the engineer representative, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Larry Jorgensen and reappoint
James Fassler and Bill Delap to said board, with their terms to expire December 31, 2005.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Larry Jorgensen be, and hereby is, appointed to the Uniform
Building Code Board of Appeals, with his term to expire December 31, 2005.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that James Fassler and Bill Delap be, and hereby are, reappointed to the Uniform
Building Code Board of Appeals, with their terms to expire December 31, 2005.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 8th day of January, A.D., 2003.
