RE: ESTABLISHING AD HOC COMMITTEE AND AUTHORIZING MEMBERS FOR MERGER
OF WELD COUNTY LIBRARY AND CITY OF GREELEY LIBRARY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, has been vested with the authority of administering
the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado has deemed it in the best interests of the citizens of
Weld County to establish an Ad Hoc committee to investigate the
feasibility of a library merger between the Weld County Library
and the City of Greeley Library, and
WHEREAS, said committee shall be entitled "Blue Ribbon Com-
mittee to Study the Feasibility of a Library Merger" , and
WHEREAS , said committee shall be composed of the following
three (3) members:
Frank Yoder
Peg Carlson
Evan Patterson
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Blue Ribbon Committee
to Study the Feasibility of a Library Merger be, and hereby is,
established to study a merger between the Weld County Library and
the City of Greeley Library.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that said committee shall
be composed of the above named individuals as members.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 5th day of
May, A.D. , 1982.
