WELD COUNTY COUNCIL
December 16, 2003

The Weld County Council met in regular session in full conformity with the Weld County
Home Rule Charter, Tuesday, December 16, 2003, 6:30 p.m., at Weld County
Centennial Center, 915 10th Street, Greeley, CO.
ROLL CALL: The meeting was called to order by Vice President Douglas
Rademacher. Councilman Dwaine Kurtz and Councilman Chip Marks were present,
constituting a quorum of the members. Also present: the Council secretary, Bev
Thomas.
AGENDA ADDITIONS/APPROVAL: There were no additions to the agenda.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Councilman Dwaine Kurtz made a motion to approve the
November 18, 2003 meeting minutes. The motion was seconded and carried.
PUBLIC COMMENT: There was no public comment.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
FAQ Link for Council Website
It was clarified that the"FAQ Link for the Council Website" would be initiated when there
was an issue that needed to be addressed in this format.
CORRESPONDENCE: The Council reviewed the correspondence.
COORDINATOR REPORTS:
2004 Council Meeting Agendas
At the January 2004 Council meeting Councilman Dwaine Kurtz will initiate discussion
of the 2004 Weld County budget and documents regarding assessed and actual Weld
County values provided at the December 2003 Elected Officials meeting.
Review programs for 2004 Council meetings were discussed with Councilman Dwaine
Kurtz committing to schedule a review program from the Extension office.
PAY BILLS: Councilman Chip Marks made a motion to approve the following bills.
Mileage for Councilman Chip Marks $28.56
Mileage for Councilman Douglas Rademacher $19.04
The motion was seconded and approved.
