Hempen, Jr. COLORADO Director of Public Works/County Engine SUBJECT: August 2003 Road Closures The following road was closed less than 72 hours in the month of August 2003: 71st Avenue between "C" Street and "O" Street was closed on 8/19/2003 and opened on 8/20/2003 for an emergency overnight road close due to bridge damage. WCR 6 between WCR 11 and WCR 13 was closed on 8/25/03 and opened on 8/26/03. The road was closed for two days due to damage of the bridge approach. WCR 54.25 between WCR 53 and WCR 55 was closed on 7/28/2003 and on 7/29/2003 to repair a culvert. Piper Street at Broadway and Circle Drive (Hereford)was closed on 7/29/2003 due to a washed out roadway. It was opened on 7/31/2003.
