RE: APPROVE AMENDMENT TO MANAGEMENT OPERATING AGREEMENT FOR JAIL
FOOD SERVICE FACILITIES AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN -ARAMARK
CORRECTIONAL SERVICES, INC.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with an Amendment to the Management
Operating Agreement for Jail Food Service Facilities between the County of Weld, State of
Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the
Sheriff's Office, and ARAMARK Correctional Services, Inc., commencing January 1, 2004, and
ending December 31, 2004, with further terms and conditions being as stated in said
amendment, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said amendment, a
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Amendment to the Management Operating Agreement for Jail
Food Service Facilities between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the
Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Sheriffs Office, and
ARAMARK Correctional Services, Inc. be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said amendment.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 22nd day of December, A.D., 2003.

Amendment to Management Operating Agreement
THIS AMENDMENT, entered into this the bad day of hcek,nbx,L) , 2003 by
and between the County of Weld ("COUNTY"), and ARAMARK Correctional
Services, Inc., a Delaware corporation, with offices at 1801 South Meyers Road,
Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois 60181, ("ARAMARK").
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the County of Weld and the Wackenhut Corporation, through its
division, Correctional Foodservice Management ("CFM") did, on December 6,
1999, enter into an Agreement for the management of the food service operation
at the Weld County Jail, and subsequently such Agreement was assigned by CFM
to ARAMARK; and,
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend said Agreement as hereinafter set forth,
effective January 1, 2004.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing and of the mutual promises
in said Agreement and all Amendments thereto, it is mutually agreed as follows:
1. Pricing: The price per meal charged to Weld County by ARAMARK shall be
changed and are set forth as Attachment A. These prices shall become effective
on January 1, 2004 and shall remain firm through December 31, 2004.
Except as hereinabove provided, said Agreement, dated December 6, 1999, is
hereby in all other respects ratified and confirmed.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this Amendment to be
signed by their duly authorized representatives the day and year first written
above.

Weld County. They have been signed by ARAMARK. Please review with the
client and get client signatures. After the client has signed, please return
at least one (1) original to my attention at the Oakbrook Terrace Office.
The client should keep the other original.
