Q Subject: Legal Action Authorization
COLORADO
The Department of Planning Services staff has scheduled the following violations to be considered at the
March 11,2003 hearing beginning at 10:00 a.m.. The Department of Planning Services staff is requesting
that the Board review the individual cases and determine whether or not to authorize legal action to remedy
the violations.
Weld County Zoning Violation Cases:
VI-0200269, Mr. Douglas Bunting, Mr. Bryan Bunting and Mr. Londell Bunting
Chapter 23, Article III, Division 1 of Sections 23-3-20, 23-3-30, 23-3-30.D, 23-3-30.1, 23-3-40, 23-3-40.O and
23-3-40.R of the Weld County Code.
-The property owner shall remove, restore or screen the "Noncommercial Junkyard"consisting of truck
frames, dilapidated farm equipment, wood, fencing, camper/trailers, metal/iron and miscellaneous debris
from all adjacent properties and public rights-of-ways.
-All commercial vehicles (dump trucks)shall be removed from the property or a Use by Special Review
application shall be completed and submitted for review.
-The camper/trailer-Recreational Vehicle shall be abated as a "dwelling unit".

Chapter 23, Article III, Division 1 of Sections 23-3-20, 23-3-30, 23-3-30.1, 23-3-40, 23-3-40.H, 23-3-40.R and
23-3-40.0 of the Weld County Code.
The property owner shall submit a completed Use by Special Review application addressing both the Kennel
and auto repair shop or both uses shall cease to operate on the property. Additionally, the Noncommercial
Junkyard shall be restored, removed or screened from all adjacent property owners and public rights-of-
ways.
