RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO UNDESIRABLE PLANT
MANAGEMENT ADVISORY COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Undesirable Plant Management Advisory
Commission, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Cynthia Telep Turner be reappointed to said
board; that Scott Houston be appointed to replace Karen Scopel; and that Cynthia Lair be
appointed to replace David Cook, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Cynthia Telep Turner and appoint
Scott Houston and Cynthia Lair to said board, with terms to expire August 19, 2006.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Cynthia Telep Turner be, and hereby is, reappointed to the
Undesirable Plant Management Advisory Commission, with a term to expire August 19, 2006.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Scott Houston and Cynthia Lair be, and
hereby are, appointed to the Undesirable Plant Management Advisory Commission, with terms
to expire August 19, 2006.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 27th day of August, A.D., 2003.
