RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING WAIVER OF TEN-DAY WAITING PERIOD FOR
CONSIDERATION AND INVESTIGATION OF THE STORAGE TANK FOR
HAZARDOUS WASTE BID - DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND
ENVIRONMENT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Purchasing has requested waiver of the ten-day waiting
period for Storage Tank for Hazardous Waste for the Department of Public Health and
Environment, Bid Request No. 016-03, to expedite the handling of hazardous waste, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable to waive the
ten-day waiting period for said bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the ten-day waiting period for the Storage Tank for Hazardous
Waste for the Department of Public Health and Environment, Bid Request No. 016-03 be, and
hereby is, waived.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the low bid from Eaton Sales and
Service, Inc., be, and hereby is, accepted.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 3rd day of September, A.D., 2003.

Eaton Sales and Service is pleased to submit the following proposal for your
consideration:
• Supply and install one (1) 2,000 gallon Titan Double Wall U.G. Waste Oil
Tank with tank monitoring, piping for gravity feed from inside the building.
• Supply and install the spill container and other fittings needed to complete
the job
• We will supply the electrical for the tank monitoring system
• We will supply the excavation for the tank
• We will supply the backfill
• We will do the start-up of the tank monitoring system (Veeder-root)
Price for the above scope of work is as follows:
