RE: INSTALLATION OF "SINGLE LANE BRIDGE" ; "YIELD AHEAD" ; "YIELD" ;
SIGNS AND SPEED ADVISORY SIGNS OF "45 MPH" AND "25 MPH" ON
COUNTY ROAD NO. 141 AT COUNTY BRIDGE 141/25A
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Department of Engineering Services
has recommended to the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado that the following traffic signs be installed
on County Road No. 141 at County Bridge 141/25A to insure safety
to the traveling public: "single lane bridge" ; "yield ahead" ;
"yield" and speed advisory signs of "45 MPH" and "25 MPH" , and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has studied the
recommendation of the Department of Engineering Services, and
has determined that the above mentioned traffic devices are
necessary to insure safety to the traveling public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners that it is advisable and in the best interest of Weld
County to approve the installation of the following traffic signs :
"single lane bridge" ; "yield ahead"; "yield" ; and speed advisory
signs of "45 and "25 MPH" , which must conform to the State
Manual and specifications, on County Road No. 141 at County Bridge
141/25A for the safety of the general public.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 19th day of
April, A.D. , 1982.
