RE: APPROVE RENEWAL OF PEST INSPECTOR' S LICENSE FOR ARTHUR V.
BRIGGS AND AUTHORIZATION FOR CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Colorado statute, Section 35-4-101,
CRS 1973, as amended, no person or persons may serve as a County
Pest Inspector in the State of Colorado subsequent to April 28 ,
1978 , unless that person or persons holds a valid license to do
so issued by the Board of County Commissioners of the County in
which that person serves, and
WHEREAS, Arthur V. Briggs has been serving in the capacity
of County Pest Inspector for Weld County and now wishes to re-
new his license, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado finds that Arthur V. Briggs has served in this capacity
in an able and competent manner, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable and in the best interest
of Weld County to renew said license, a copy of which is attached
hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the renewal of the Pest
Inspector' s License for Arthur V. Briggs be, and hereby is , approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be,
and hereby is authorized to sign same.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 1st day of
September, A.D. , 1982, nunc pro tunc June 6, 1982.

PEST INSPECTOR'S LICENSE
It sufficiently appearing to the Board of County Commis-
sions of the County of Weld that Arthur V. Briggs
possessing adequate knowledge and experience, is able and compe-
tent to serve as Weld County pest inspector for Dutch Elm
Disease
This license is hereby issued under the authority of Title
35 , Article 4 , CRS 1973, for the renewal period of 6/2/82
and shall expire on 8/2/83
