RE: APPROVE AUTHORIZATION FOR THE WELD COUNTY TREASURER TO CANCEL
COUNTY TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATE AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Claud W. Hanes, Weld County Treasurer, has requested authorization to
cancel County Tax Lien Sale Certificate Number 1361/02, with a description of said Certificate
and the property it encumbers being set forth in a letter from Mr. Hanes to the Board of County
Commissioners, dated December 22, 2003, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable to cancel said
County Tax Lien Sale Certificate as requested by the Weld County Treasurer, pursuant to
Section 39-10-114, C.R.S.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that County Tax Lien Sale Certificate Number 1361/02, be, and hereby
is, canceled.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 24th day of December, A.D., 2003.
